Can my buddy with an 83/84 turbo car replace his turbo with an EA82 turbo:confused: . If so, is there any thing "wierd" I should let him know about:confused: . Dr. RX Posted January 27, 2007 Share Posted January 27, 2007 Tim, that depends upon whether the turbo in the EA81T was replaced per the recall. If it was, then it should be that same as the EA82T. (there was a debate in an earlier thread on this) So even if it is water cooled, you can hook it up without the water and then plumb in the water later when you have more time/money. If it was me (and some day it might be) I'd be all over it. Dan (some of you might remember him from WCSS III) is far better suited to tinkering with Buicks .
