ok so i was looking through a web site and i saw that the 1980 brat came with a kit to attach the steering wheel hub kit but the 79 did not. whats the difference?

I am not sure about EA71's but I know EA81's and EA82's are different. You might try asking if the steering wheel spline is different on the 1980 Brat vs the 1979 Brat is different.

EA81 Boss kits are VERY hard to come across now. EA82's are getting that way too. So I don't know where you'll find a EA71 Boss kit unless it's the same as ano0ther car.
