Hello all,

Just got my first Japanese car, first Subaru, a 2007 Outback L.L. Bean H-6.

I know, I know, way to fancy for you off road guys, but I am really impressed with the car thus far. Only a couple of thousand miles.

Haven't done any off roading in years. Last was in a Chevy pickup 4x4.

Never was a hard core off roader but wonder what this little jewel may be capable of.

Don't have any mods in mind yet, except to maybe try and disable the DRL's. I hate those things.

Now to snoop around a little.

welcome.

YEAH another SoCal member.

Have you tried taking your ride to the top of Saddleback?

Roads are really mild and it's a great view on a clear day.

Come to my BBQ if you are free on the 24th.

DRL's? daytime running lights?

yeah, it's a pretty lame option for a subaru, since you can just keep your real lights on all the time and they'll go off automatically with the key... one of my favorite features...
