ok well i bought a 89 gl sw 4x4 turbo that was auto, but some one did the work and swaped a 5spd in it. the only problem that i have is that it still has the auto gauge cluster can i just put in a 5spd one or is it more envoled than that.

had to test 4wd before i bought it.

Black electrical tape does a good job in hiding the auto trans indicators. I did an auto to d/r 5 speed trans swap and considered it too risky to mess more than I had to with the dash.
