hatchsub Posted May 8, 2007 Share Posted May 8, 2007 Hey i kno this subject has been discussed before cause i did a search but i didnt see anyone giving tips on how they did the bracket. My throttle cable bracket is too far away from the carb so the carb will not close all the way. I tried bending it closer but it still isnt enough. I wish I put a tape measure next to it (duuuuh) but I fab'ed a piece of steel about 3in. if i remember right, and took the throttle cable bracket for the Carter Weber set-up, and tac welded it together. I also had to do some extra bending in the piece I made, obviously. infact, you could easily just fabricate the whole entire thing! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I made a template out of cardboard and gave it to him and he made me a really nice one out of steel.
