well last weekend my girlfriend was down, so we took her on a tour of the sand dunes. the high temp was about 102 degrees.

looking across the lower portion of the dunes. the dunes stretch 30 miles from I8 to Hwy 78. they also extend 20+ miles into mexico and another 5 or 10 miles past hwy 78.

Those are some nice dunes..

they aren't the largest in that area. patton valley is the largest of the southern dunes that you can ride. up past the baby dunes in glamis are the real big dunes between osbourne lookout, K2 and Oldsmobile hill are where the good ones are.

should be going back to glamis the weekend of the 16th of june, if anyone wants to go.
