A/C unit and mounting

Featured Replies

Yes, I'm in the middle of EA82-EJ22 swap. Me question is, now that its getting HOTTER here in BOISE IDAHO, the more and more I want to keep the A/C unit in this swap. I wanted to know if the A/C unit off the EA82 would bolt up to the EJ22 motor or if it could be modified sensibly to work with the EJ22?? I have the A/C unit off of the EJ22, but I dont know if it works?? The A/C unit in my EA82 blow SUPER COLD!!!! So if I could use that one that would be great. One more question, if I have to use the A/C unit off the EJ22 will the hoses from the EA82 work on the EJ22 A/C unit??

Thanks For the Help Guys:)

Tony

Hey Tony This is Jerry, you will need to use the 2.2 pump because of the belts they are different. Drain the system and have 2 new hoses made with the 2.2 ends on end and have the EA82 ends on the other that way it will bolt back up. Recharge the system Thanks Jerry
