Co-Forum Meet Greets???

Featured Replies

Hey as I am sitting up at 2:34 am and cannot go to sleep for some reason, I am wondering if anyone has ever coordinated a meet greet on two forums... by this I would mean anywhere.

Anyways I think it would be cool if us guys in Az, and the guys from RS25.com have a meet greet together... I really dont know anyone from RS25 except my bro in law ozzy... But he went to a meet with them, driving his audi for goodness sakes, (his RS was under the knife) and he says that the people on RS25 are kinda like us... Cool and not thinking that we know everything in the world... unlike nasioc.

So.. just an Idea for you guys...... the next meet that rs25.com has down here I am going to with my subie so... I hope they like oldschools, from what I hear they thought it was preety cool to hear of a gl-10 Turbo with 15 black pugs on it... so they obviously know what it is. well im off to try to sleep now... wish me luck

I'd have to say most of the meets are attended by other people from other boards. The WCSS would be a great example, but on a smaller scale we've had an occasional NABISCO member or 2.5RS member show at the MWSS. Who was the guy with the Legacy at #2 who really did good in the mud???

It works rather well. Just setup a meet on one and then link people over to the other forum to read about the meet. Make sure that the forum you post the meet on doesnt block guest viewing as thats kindof annoying for the people that arent registered on the forum you list the meet on.

Here in Denver the dominating forum is AWDPirates.net. Its mostly go fast types but they never seem to mind the old schoolers from this forum showing up. We don't keep up with them very well on the mountain drives they do after the meets but oh well. :)

Some of the people on their forum have aquired old Subies because of seeing ours and they do some pretty cool work on them.

Hey... speak for yourself:-p And actually IIRC the last meet we had here in CO with AWD had about 4-5 boards... Lots of DSM and Colbalts seemed to show as well as a few Audis and a Ferrari! Anyway, yeah... organize it, and just cross post... cake.
