93 Legacy 2wd/AWD rear wheel bearings?

Featured Replies

I get conflicting info from parts catalogs as to whether 2wd and AWD rear bearings are the same for a 93 Legacy. Can anybody answer this?

After I posted this I found some more specific diagrahms.

Beware buying rear wheel bearings though. It appears the auto parts stores, or some anyhow, don't show a difference.

one other thing to note is that the chance you'll also need hubs is pretty good. If there is even a slight lip worn into the part that goes into the bearing, the new bearings will get trashed in a very short period of time.

Thanks to everyone with the info. I got them done and it worked out fine. The kit I bought was a Hub/Bearing assembly.
