As you all know Im doing the EJ22 EA82 swap, Im cleaning up and removing everything the I can under the hood for looks. I dont know what this is, my buddy thinks it is the unit that switches the blower mode's. like from defrost to floor the a/c to heater but I dont know. if it is it's ran by vac lines and how do I rehook it up to the ej22 motor??

That's exactly what it is. Provides vacuum to the flappers for the HVAC system.

 

Hook it up to a manifold vacuum source on the EJ22.

Yeah, it's simply a vaccum reserve to operate the controls inside. it just need a single vac line hooked to it.
