RallyKeith
I need to replace one of the injectors on my aunt's 91 legacy. When I was looking on-line to price out a remanufactured replacement, they list two different part numbers. One is for manual, and one is for automatic. The pictures even look different. Does anyone know why they are different? Keith
avk
Early 1st gen. Legacies were made with two diferent sets of engine controls, either Hitachi or JECS. Hitachi was found with MT and JECS with AT. Perhaps back then one kind was made in Japan and the other in US? Other components that are different are MAF sensor and IAC valve, possibly others. Legacy777
In 92 all the n/a MT legacies went to the JECS control system as well. There are injector differences between the AT & MT 90-91 MY's, as well as the 92-94 MY's.
