85glsw
Anyone hazard a guess if '88 DL 4wd front strut would fit on an '85 GL 4wd? I just want to switch one strut, because the crown bearings are going bad. Maybe better I rent two spring compressors and swap the crown bearings? But it is not a good idea to change just one strut. Especially changing spring just one spring with it. If you are going to swap, swap both struts. Renting a spring compressor, and just changing the upper mount/bearing on you're existing strutis a good idea too.(plus then you keep the height adjustable struts) In that case it would be OK to do just one. Thanks. That's what I was afraid of.
