1995SubaruImpreza
I have noticed over the past couple of weeks that the driver side door has become a little difficult to close also the plastic coating over the striker pin is all cracked. One of the guys where I work looked at it and said it seems the door has dropped just slightly. He said that some cars you can replace just the bushings for the door hinges to fix the problem. Does anyone know if you can just get the bushings from subaru or will I have to replace the hinges? Also how important in the plastic covering the striker will I need to replace this too? Thanks
Sweet82
Just before the door closes is it at the proper height? The strike plate can be lowered or... ...one of the hindges can be adjusted? I'd play with a hindge first and see if that will fix it. You'd have to mess with it anyway if you could replace the bushing.
