September 5, 200718 yr I don't think you will have the ERG valve which will throw a CEL. Also check to see if the y-pipe is the same, single or dual port heads.
September 9, 200718 yr Author You were right I don't have any of the egr stuff. Can I just move a 2.5 manifold over with everything? There also seem to be a metal pipe from the egr back into the head, I can't see any hole on my 2.2 to retro fit the head?
September 10, 200718 yr That's the problem, the block is not drilled or tapped for the pipe. If the computer does not see the EGR, you will always have a CEL. The 95 2.2 from an automatic trans is a direct drop in if you can find a good one.
September 10, 200718 yr You could try putting in a resistor. I don't know if the ECU would be happy with that.....may be worth a try.
