I saw AndyJo's project with the Forester struts to gain a couple of inches and want to go that way. KYB has many, many different models. How can I tell which will work on my 98 Impreza? porcupine73 Posted September 8, 2007 Share Posted September 8, 2007 Hi. Yes KYB has many different struts. The general advice is you go with struts from the same MY but from the higher vehicle. Confidence is increased if the strut model spans multiple model years and your model year is well within the band. One big difference between Legacy/Outback and Impreza springs (for U.S. anyway) is the diameter of the spring tops. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
