im runing another wierd combination. spfi long block, with carb manifold, and weber.

 

i have two distributors. one is from a carb ea82 4x, with one vac point and two wires. the other one is off an 85 mpfi, with two vac points.

 

i know both will work, but would the one with two vac points be a progressive advance. like better?

 

if i use the one with the two vac points, could i just t one vac line to both of them, or does one go before throttle plate, and one after?

well, not that anyone cares, but i talked to an old timer last nite, and he said it was prolly one vac point to retard the timing and one was to advance.
