Load leveler strut questions.

Hi all,

I have a few questions about Subaru's load leveler struts. Can they be installed on a 2000 Forester, and how much would they cost to install?

The reason I'm asking is because I may need to have a trailer hitch and

a wheelchair lift attached to the back of my car. I already talked to

Subaru about the hitch, and they only have a Class I hitch. They told

me to go to U-Haul for a stronger hitch. I am trying to find out if

all this will be practical. A big concern is the tongue weight capacity,

because the lift and wheelchair together will weigh about 300 lbs, and

I think a class II hitch holds 350 lbs. Btw, I wouldn't be sitting in the

chair when it is going up. I need it to get to and from my car.
