Low on transmission fluid

Featured Replies

I checked my tranny fluid for the first time in a long time and found out it was 1qt low. I think it starting shifting a big strangely. I hope this didn't damage anything.

The total capacity is 6qts.

Well, 6 qrts, must be a auto tranny.

Dump some MMO in it

MMO?

I put 1 qt of Dextron III tranny fluid in it. That's right it is an auto.

Marvels Mystery Oil....

Someone might want to claryify with me, but I believe you can run it in Auto tranny's

It looks just like ATF fluid anyways...

Since you added ATF fluid in there, did it stop shifting funny?

Today it hesitated a bit shifting into 2nd, but now it is fine. The vehicle was cold, outside was 30F, maybe connected to that. I will report if I see any more problems.
