dang that's a lot DNFs, i wonder what happened.
You can get a bit more information on Special Stage but the primary reason is the roads were too wide open and speeds were really high...100+ mph for some competitors. Unless you're used to those speeds on gravel, trouble is bound to bite you in the butt. Check the pics and you'll know what I mean about fast roads.
