Ok I am looking at a 1996 OBW that has had a small colision in the front right corner. The fender has some minor crumpling. The big issue is that the lower control arm is bent. I have a 1990 parts legacy in the garage and was wondering if the control arm is the same. I know the springs and struts are diferent but not sure about the control arm. I thought I read that the suspension is interchangeable. The rest of the car is good, and has about 138,000 miles.

I would guess they are the same, or similar enough to be swapable. I'd try giving your local subaru dealership a call to see if they can lookup the two part #'s & compare.
