Lifting Car

Featured Replies

Hello all, I have a 95 Impreza wagon, and I was thinking about adding some rubber coil spring spacers to the rear to level the car. I’ve included a photo of the spacer. The car sits about one inch lower in the rear, and these spacers are supposed to lift it about an inch. Is it me or does it seem like all the early Impreza’s left the factory floor a little low in the rear. Is it a handling thing?

Anyway, if I install these spacers, do you guys think I’ll create new problems? Also, does anyone have any suggestions on how I could lift the rear without breaking the bank?

Oh one more note, I’ve already installed all new Dobinson springs and KYB GR2s, and the coils are the correct springs for the car.

Thanks for the help
