FWD Fuse?

Featured Replies

Hey guys, almost got a flatty on my '02 Legacy last night. I managed to make it to a gas station and air up but it got me thinking - What if i needed to use the space saver?

I had a good look around and couldnt find ANYTHING on the FWD fuse on an '02 or later. It seems in the owners manual (deciphered using my pig japanese and by reading the pictures) there is a slot for the fuse in the engine bays fuse holder on the GT models. On my car the slot is blanked off.

However my cars auto looks slightly different and drives VERY different to the 4AT in my friends '02 GT.

Does anyone here know if there IS a need for the FWD fuse, or will the car just adjust and compensate for it?

P.S Already know its gotta go on the front due to LSD on the rear.

On that model at least in the U.S. the FWD fuse holder is in the fuse box under the hood near the battery.
