so i just bought of ebay a 95 impreza 2.2l turbo/5speed, coupe

non intercooled

 

i plan on adding a full 2.5rs kit + hood

 

front mount intercooler, wrx brakes, kyb/agx shocks

whiteline springs and swaybars

 

legacy 2.5gt rims, nardi steering wheel(there are no air bags in this car)

 

some wrx seats up front, sti motor and trans mounts

 

and then sell it

 

probley 10k with no miles(ill rebuild everything)

So the 95 was swapped from a legacy or someone bolted on a kit?

 

It costs about $6500 to have a shop swap in a good condition 02+ WRX driveline/ecu/dash. 10k would be a bit much.

 

 

Host images online somewhere like imageshack.us and use tags to post them, and keep the size to 800x640 or smaller for inline images.

no the car i bought is a rare greymarket import, they happen, the guy i bought it from is a retired rally driver, while i did not speak with him much about how he got the car, i know he got it new, probley in another country and brought it here with him(he is not american and had a heavy spanish accent) IT IS LHD, so i can assume spain, but i dont know yet, i am doing a title search, but the car is completely stock_OE

Very interesting. Wasn't coupe a US-only body style? Although maybe it was available in other markets as one of numerous special editions.

There was only one 2.2 turbo Impreza, ever, and that was the 22b. Me thinks yours is a 2.0.

it didn't come from europe, in 1995 there was no such thing as a WRX and especially no 2-door version

 

so it either had to come from japan (which is not very likely since it's LHD) or it's swapped OR it's not a 2.2

the origanal owner was actually happy about this

he really didnt want to sell
