Why does the brat want to die when coming to a stop and while parked on a downhill??? Float bowl level maybe??? Again, I need to know the points gap... cant find my dwell meter anywhere and want to do my best to get it running as close to right as possible. Also... Haynes or Chilton manual?? Which is more thorough?

What distributor and coil do I need again??? 83 or newer EA81 right??? But until I can make it happen, what should i set my points gap to??

point gap .018 - .022 in or .45 - .55 mm

 

dwell 49 - 55

 

 

year does not matter as long as it is a 2-wire system

 

ea71 or ea81 will work

 

ea82 will need to be modified
