Featured Replies

i tried to set up a group to go a few years ago, but i think i got deployed instead. usually they are supposed to be pretty fun. ain't super cheap but registrations need to be started around the 11th of feb. cause the event keeps filling faster and faster every year.

who'd be interested? you'll need a seriously equiped rig if you want to do the intermediate trails. generally right after the 4th of july weekend and is the major fundraiser for the PNW4WDA.

*i've never been to the mentioned region, in reading descriptions on PNW4WDA's trail descriptions, it looks to me like my ol' subiewagon should be fine for 2 or 3 of the listed trails. please correct me if i am incorrect about this (anybody who's actually been there and done that). if i can at least run 2 or 3 of the trails, and support a good cause, i'm there baby! :headbang:

if you have a lift and welded rear with some oversized tires you shouldn't have any real problems, with half the trails on that list. the trail descriptions make most of them sound worse than they are. pretty much funny rocks and up you should be able to make with no real problem if you've wheeled any real trails before. i made it out to the funny rocks with my stock suzuki on street tires this sept. it was dry at the time, which a lot of years it is pretty dry by the jamboree.

if you've wheeled walker valley up there. the majority of naches is not difficult. narrow ridge line trails, some rocks, roots and major sidehills on the more difficult runs. naches pass has been ran by the hatchpatrol like 6 years ago. they don't run the lower section on the jamboree, which is the most difficult section.
