Source for repair info

Just wanted to let you all know about a resource you may have available for repair information. Here in Eugene, the public library has a subscription to Alldata. Alldata is a professional technicians' resource that shops pay a lot of $$'s so they can have up-to-date info on TSB's, repair methods, and specs. The shop I used to work at had a subscription, and so when I found out our library had gotten it, I was psyched!:headbang:

As an example, it has all the test procedures for discovering what exactly is wrong when you have a code in memory. You just have to test the components it tells you to, then follow the little boxes to find out, say, if your IAC solenoid code means you have a bad IAC, bad connections at the wiring, or possibly a bad computer. Saved me from spending a bunch of money when all I had was a intermittent bad wire in the underhood loom!:D
