Yeah, I think the 2 threads should be merged. Same car, same problem still. SO, NewDriverOldride, do you still have no CEL light? That is the VERY first thing to solve. NO CEL= NO power to ECU. The optical sensor INSIDE the dist. was bad. rather than buy a new dist, and considering there are no JY around here, it turns out he had a dist from an older nissan where he took that optical sensor and it worked! cool huh!? now on the next note, I just gotta figure out why my wiper motor dont work....hmmmmmmm Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This is A big revalation that could be helpful alot itn the future. What type of Nissan Distributor did you scavange from???
