I was getting ready to change out my drivers seat. I noticed the wires that connect to a box under the seat (97 OBW). What is that? I don't have heated seats. I was concerned about popping an airbag or something if I unhook it. Guess I could unhook the battery, but I hate setting the clock and restoring radio stations - whine - whine - whine. Anybody know what lurks there?

I guessing the annoying seatbelt warning.

yup seatbelt chime....i almost ripped my wires off when i tugged on the seat to get it out......

That makes sense. Can ya yank that thing or will you then have eternal annoying seat belt warning?

try shorting it out then. Either that or find out where the dinger is and pull that plug...

It's really not that big of a deal. I just wanted to know what it was before I pulled it. With all the work i have stacked up, just getting time to actually change out the seat will be great. No time for seat belt alarm experiments. I'll probably just plug it back in.
