Performance Tires on my Lego

Featured Replies

Looking into a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position

195/60R15

$457.000 out the door from Tire Pros

Is this too much of a tire for my legacy?

What tires do you run? Would you buy them again?

I just purchased BFGoodrich G-Force KDW N/T for my Impreza RS.

$578.00 out the door with no questions asked replacement warranty.

Size: 205/55/16

From: America's Tire Co. aka Discount Tire Co.

I personally do not like the potenzas, ran a couple different sets, none of them grip like the Toyo Proxes "4's" I just got rid of and they didn't grab as well as the KDWs I just bought.

I am almost certain that the KDWs won't last as long either though:headbang:.

Just a suggestion, but check craigslist and ebay for WRX takeoff wheels and tires. You could probably upgrade to 16" or 17" wheels and tires for less that those tires. A lot of people take off stock WRX wheels at low mileage.

When i had my G35 (insert *sigh* here) i ran Toyo T1R's. I loved them, here in western washington, (2 seasons, rain/sun) they were perfect! Predictable, exactly the right feedback, and grip to die for (no pun intended) even in the wettest conditions. . . just don't try snow driving. i couldn't get my car to move 20 ft into a garage thru 2" of snow with those tires and the G's traction control b.s. kicking in :dead:

best prices consistently that i've ever found are here

Tirerack usually has good prices - and I think they may offer some sort of discount to NASIOC members...
