Well on my annunciator panel my "check engine" light was out, well I go to replace it, and it turns out the bulb was taken out and put into another one of those holes that goes to nothing, guess that is the lazy redneck way of fixing a engine light on.

Well now that I fixed my annunciator panel, I read the article about the codes on this site, but I have a few question:

Where is this light that is going to flash the codes to me?

Where are the two terminals I need to jump to get it into "diagnostic" mode?

Thanks,

S

**Oh yea this is on a 90 Loyale

On my 87' wagon it's by the drivers side firewall near the windshield washer pump. It's actually a green plug. Pretty easy to find.

So I need to jump this green plug to something??

where is the light that is going to indicate the codes?

Thanks

No, it's a male and female connector. They're separated by default. Just plug them together...

Codes will display on the small LED in the Front of the ECU. Bolted to steering column/
