iv'e done this several times and never had a problem until now. i'm putting a 2002 wrx 6 disc in my 96 legacy outback, when i plug it in i hear the cd player turning on but when i go to turn it on i get no joy. anybody have any ideas?

Any sort of security feature that is keeping you from turning it on like a security code of sorts? I have heard that some of the newer cars are equiped with that but I am not sure if the wrx has that.
