So im in the market for a wheel upgrade and ive got a couple local choices. Which would be better for my non offroaded car. Lower profile tires would be put on them

 

Toyota 16x7 wheels tacoma

 

or

 

Mazda 14x6 wheels b2000

I have a set of the Mazda B2200 wheels on my lifted wagon. They are about the perfect offset for 2nd gen Subs, so they should work great for 3rd gens. The B2000/B2200 14s are a good wheels for redrilling. They are light, but durable enough for most applications, and I think they look great.

 

The 14 would be my personal choice for what it sounds like you want to do with them....

 

also, the tire selection is going to be alot greater for a medium profile 14, versus a real low profile 16, as that is what it would take to clear a stock 3rd gen with 16s.

 

The Mazda flat spokes look really good with a nice coat of gloss black on them too.....

the ones im looking at the guy is selling them for 50 bucks with tires but they dont look like stock wheels. They are chrome.

Ben. Those are the wheels that were on craigs 4 or so weeeks ago. I would have got them, but I found my pugs to complete my set. For 50.00 bucks, you can't go wrong just drill the hole in the wheel to match the 2 lugs on the subie. Those will look nice, and you will easily find a tire size to work that is not too $$

yep thats what im going to do. I thought even if i didnt like them i could probally get rid of them on here anyways. I just bought those 13s from mick but 14s fill out the wheel well alot better.
