Replacing a master Cylinder? quick question

Featured Replies

Ok, I just took out my old master cylinder, I guess it developed a leak, the past week I noticed that my brake fluid light came on so I found the leak, at the base where it connects to the booster. My question is, what should I do now that I have my old one off? Should I adjust the brakes via the little adjuster in there or what? and if so, How? Thanks

EDIT, so I just slapped it in, after quickly bench bleeding it, I dont have anyone here to help me bleed the brakes, but It shall be done tomarrow, I hope my luck with this car holds out!

good job!

if that fluid was going into the booster would have toasted it before too long!
