1990 Sedan AWD

Featured Replies

How similar is this car to the EA82's? If i found a AWD sedan would it be easy to put a DR in that car? Something similar to this but a sedan, http://denver.craigslist.org/car/758081891.html. This car.....http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/Literature/brochures/1991-i.jpg

Ive seen a few 1990 sedans on CL that are AWD and standard I think.

What do you think?

Seeing how i like to post first, read after. It seems to be a fairly easy swap, am i correct in saying this? The D/R is sitting in my garage ready to go. Any suggestions?

That's a Loyale, pretty much the same as a GL or DL, They have an EA82, with SPFI. It should be pretty straightforward. Some searching on here should get you all the information you need. I've come close to putting a DR in my wagon a few times.

definetly go with the d/r tranny. You may have some issues with the wiring connectors for the transmission. You will need the dual range center console and shift levers. You will want to use the crossmember from the D/R also. Drive line length may be different (most likely its the same size) One other thing u may run into is 25 spline front axles on the fulltime. Its been a few years since I pulled one of those and I think it was on a turbo turd but I cant really remember
