i just bought a 91 legacy sport sedan, and the sunroof was pretty much glued shut, so i tried to fix it so i can use it again, and lo and behold, i need new weatherstripping.

 

Question is can i buy new weather stripping, or do i have to buy a whole new sunroof assembly?

If you are talking about the rubber bit that goes around the glass, you have to buy the whole glass, if you get it from Subaru.
