Still have yet to see this vehicle in person but I've acquired a 1979 Brat from Jim C. , former SOA man on the go. From the picture I received from Jim a couple of years ago his/my Brat looks very solid and with its uncracked dash should be a candidate for restoration. My son has called dibs on it five years or so from now.

 

I sure do plan on sending Jim a nice gift because the Brat came to me WAY too cheap. Jim if you see this , and I hope you do , thanks again a thousand times. A nice donation will indeed be made in your name to the USMB.

BRAT has some rot in the rocker panels and took on some water on the passenger side floor but otherwise looks great and behaves fairly well.
