Hey all:

 

Recently finished my ej swap into 84 brat. My idle seems to surge when I'm warmed up and every time I start the car. The idle switchsignal at the ecu is 2 volts with the ignition on and it should be 4.6 per the manual.

 

Where is the idle switch located. I cant find it in the manual. Any help appreciated.

The idle switch is in the TPS. The only adjust that needs and should be done to the TPS is to adjust the idle switch. Follow these instructions to adjust the idle switch.

I was out of spec, but adjusted it. My idle came down. Hopefully all is well. Thanks.
