All I have is a 4" piece at the rear of the hood. I presumed that mine originally went all the way across until I saw someone else with a 4" piece too. Seeking enlightenment please....

Cost saving measure then. I figure the price of rubber must have been through the roof! (ok, mind is in the gutter now)

i'm pretty sure the piece at the back,and the rubber rests that are under the hood are what they came with.cheers, brian
