hi im new to this site, i have a 84 brat gl with a 4 inch lift and with a 4 spd dual range transmission and a 1.8 liter. I found a ej22 from a 91 legacy i believe. i was wondering if anyone has a list of the parts i need to do this swap, i plan on buying the adapter plate, what else do i need to do this swap?? do i need a ecu or wiring harness or can i splice it in? a complete list would be greatly appreciated.

Read the stick just two posts up from this. Its got the whole write up for the swap. I have an 84 brat with the ej22 motor. Much more fun to drive! I would recommend getting a whole legacy and go from there. find the ea2ej pdf and read the whole thing. It will tell you everything you need to know. Good luck.
