testy Posted December 17, 2008 Share Posted December 17, 2008 How bad is it to swap a gas tank on a ea82. Mines got holes in it and full of rust keeps killing filters and pumps. john in KY Posted December 17, 2008 Share Posted December 17, 2008 Just recently stripped an XT6 and pulled the tank. Real pita because the rear differential has to be dropped. Also there are a lot of lines associated with the tank which didn't concern me since I was only after the tank. But maybe you have a FWD which will make the process easier.
