January 17, 200917 yr While waiting for fed ex to deliver some parts this morning, I thought I'd ask ... anybody ever heard of this? Slight stumble at exactly same rpm.....engine is a 98..tranplanted into my 97 OBW. Paul
January 17, 200917 yr ever use a scan tool to check for stored codes? Did you have to change/ modify any sensors when doing the swap?
January 17, 200917 yr Author I just picked up genuine Sube Wires other day and am swapping them out tommorow, thought I'd clear codes then.... I have to change some oil seals, and some idlers, and some pumps.....etc
January 17, 200917 yr The point I was working on was that possibly a sensor (Maybe the MAP baro sensor.which could show up as an error code) is causing your problem.
January 17, 200917 yr MAP - Manifold Absolute Pressure Baro - Barometric pressures If it was not connected or being fed the wrong info (hose off) it would light the CEL. I just used it as an example of one thing the codes might show.
January 17, 200917 yr Author Thanks ! So its needs a pure manifold vacuum...I think thats how its hooked up.... I will check...the swap last weekend was a 97 2.5 to a 98 2.2 ...not all the vaccumm lines were exactly the same....
