Hard shifting??

Hi guys,

 

I am experiencing some hard shifting on my 98 OBS MT. It happens mostly from 5th to 4th and into 1st. And it seems to happen mostly during downshifting. Upshifting usually smooth as silk.

 

clutch was replaced in 2006 with 143k (if memory serves right).

 

Should I do a transmission fluid flush? Is that a hard procedure?
