A bump after four years...

Im building a phase I EJ22, and considering a number of things along these lines. Id hate to waste the opportunity to build a bad@$$ motor

Stroker kit sounds expensive but awesome, head swaps/frankenmotors sound cheap and easy. The motor will probably eventually go in my 97 OBW, currently rockin' the EJ25D (pre-head gasket failure).

 

Wondering if any original people from this thread long ago are still around, and if anyones had reliability/build issues with these

There's plenty of threads around the board concerning the frankenmotors.
