March 27, 200917 yr Pulled the MAF off Murph (87 T-Wag). The wire looks intact, Anyone know how to diagnose either the unit or the circuit?
March 27, 200917 yr It may need to be cleaned they sell products for that purpose. Here is a link to the Factory Service Manual. Pages 12-14 (N/A), and 91-92 (turbo specs) cover the MAF testing procedures. You will need a multimeter to complete the tests. http://home.comcast.net/~trilinear/SubaruEA82-ServiceManualPart2.zip Edited March 27, 200917 yr by ihscout54
March 28, 200917 yr Test from the above manual confirm - bad MAF. No, to find one somewhere. Hotwire style? I've got as few. PM for price.
March 29, 200917 yr Author Murphy Lives!!!! Again. Got a MAF from J-Yard. That did the trick. Now I'm noticing other codes, but I have to go to my gig tonight. I'll let you know what I find tomorrow.
