buyin a 2006 impreza hatchback tomorrow pretty sure.

I'm great when it comes to workin on my rockcrawler xj but i dont have a clue when it comes to these newer cars.

 

I know they are a lot more computer controlled. When I mod things such as intake, exhaust, plugs, etc, is it going to cause the o2 sensors or computer to go out of whack? or will the computer correct itself. Just trying to get a feel for things before i start tinkering with it. thanks guys

also the car is all-white and i plan to tint the windows like a bi-otch and smoke out the lights. any tips? Im not trying to create a ricer by any means... no plan to race or run it hard but id like a lil rumble and a nice clean look

Welcome to the forum. Some mods will be ''ignored'' by the ECU, some won't. There are folks here who are more familiar with the topic than I am, but http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/index.php is probably more of a haven for Impreza modders.
