found the leak on my head gasket at the rear of the driver side head......last head bolt on the bottem was loose.....it just happens to be at a spot that can not be seen because of the engine mount crossmember......and the smell is sickening when it gets sucked in.....good luck

You found a head bolt loose? What did you do to determine that? I am hoping the dealership will have to take care of it. I have smelled the coolant, but not until recently did I finally find it!

Drivers side towards fire wall right above the exhaust. Explaining the smell. Let me know what you did?

Are you sure that it was a head-bolt that is loose?

 

I thought that the head-bolts were hidden inside the rocker-cover (which has its own mounting bolts).
