Featured Replies

Does anyone know what years of outbacks an 02 hood interchanges with?

someone had told me it was only 02 and 03 but id like to hear from some pro's.

I'm looking to get a scoop hood for my 02 outback, I had hard time finding anything like it, im guessing they didnt continue to put them on after the late 90s or something...

Hope you guys can help! thanks!

if they maintain the pattern of the 90s, 2000 - 2004 will fit, 2005 - ?? will be different, and 95-99 are definitely different.

What year did they stop putting hoodscoops on the outbacks?

00-04 hoods should interchange with your 02 OB. I believe the legacy l/gt hoods are the same as well. There are no scoops on any 00-04 USDM legacy/outbacks. However, outside the US market at least the Legacy GT-B's of these years had scoops.

Hood scoops stopped in 99, and then restarted on the turbo outback/legacy's from 05-up.
