mountainchef Posted July 1, 2009 Share Posted July 1, 2009 (edited) I have a 1992 N/A Legacy L AWD wagon and this will be my second auto trans replacement. Got the first one used and put about 16months on it, including a hard winter commuting to the mountains. Want to know if it's better use of time and $$$$ to convert to a 5mt. lmdew Posted July 1, 2009 Share Posted July 1, 2009 Use the search on the USMB and you will find tons of info. Yes the auto to manual is a good change and not to hard. Make sure the Rear Diff is changed as well so the gear ratios match. If you can find a complete car non running and then pull the trans and all the other stuff you will need that is best.
