hi i just swapped in an engine into a loyale it was carbed,now its spfi, after about a quarter mile the check engine light comes on, could it be the timing is off?i am wondering because i had to switch the distributor., and my hood label with the timing stuff on it is missing, so i was wondering there is a single white plug and a green plug at the top of the engine bay on the drivers side, and i cant remember if theyre supposed to be plugged in or unplugged, also how many degrees btdc is an spfi 1.8 supposed to be set at thanks.

Green connectors should be connected for timing adjustment. Timing is set to 20 degrees BTDC.
