air conditioning and display board unoperable in 110 degree heat

Featured Replies

Yesterday I left my 2007 Outback parked in the heat (110 degrees). When I got back in the display panel for both the radio control and the Temperature Control would not light. I had left the car with the air fan on low and it came back at that setting...but I could not change the settings on either the temp panel or the radio panel. Opened the windows and after about 5 min. the display lights all came back on and were then operable as usual. Anyone living in hot climates have similar experience? Any thoughts??? thanks.

I am pretty sure this was a recall. The units are both together. Take it to your dealership. Also do a quick search.
